The PC I have placed the card in only has a 1st gen i3, but it has 8 GB RAM. It's good for watching and editing video too. I've found it very adequate for touching up pictures and creating everyday graphics, such as with Adobe Illustrator and so on. It's a super versatile answer if you use office programs and/or run lighter side games. I read that they make some PSUs for Antec and are considered a very good PSU brand. Just out of curiosity, what brand of PSU is the one in your HP? Do they still use Deltas? I have an HP 6200 with a 320w Delta. I have run a 15w card very successfully on a 240w HP DC7700 system that contained a backup drive and ran with 6 to 8 USB ports in use and no PSU difficulties. If you have a second internal drive, maybe you could move the drive to USB? That would remove about 20-30 watts. I have used the r7 240 for some light gaming (QuakeLive), and it runs very cool and quiet. However, if your PC supported the HD 4350 with its 20w max power usage, you should be fine running the Gigabyte on 300w, since it only rates 15w more. These are good but older PSUs that rate closer to their specs than the usual out of the box PSUs do typically. added HD 4350 (had no card previous to this) moved 600w Rosewill to Transource (no idea why it had such a powerful PSU. added 600w Rosewill PSU from Nanosystems I don't even have a second drive in the Nanosystems PC that originally had the 600w PSU. I went ahead anyway, because it just seemed to make sense to me. Both the PCs are office type home builds, but I really didn't think I needed to make the change, honestly. Although I like Windows 10, I have even considered reverting back to Win 7.Д«ill3629: I had an older PC with a 600w power supply, so I moved that PSU over to the Gigabyte card PC, which had been running a 300w Seasonic PSU with an HD 4350 card like yours. I cannot believe there is not an answer out there from someone who has experienced the same problem. I am not a gamer, so don't need high power graphics. I will upgrade card and power supply if required to sharpen the text I am now getting. I have searched hp support and google for a replacement graphics card that will work in this desktop with its 300 watt power supply.

I have upgraded the driver to latest available for this old 2009 ATI card: 8.970.100.9001 which is the latest from ATI and Microsoft for this card running Windows 10.

Now the screen is full size but text is somewhat fuzzy and just not as sharp as previously. Had to move resolution from 1920x1080 (recommended setting for my HP 2509m monitor) down to 1680x1050 to maximize the screen size back to what it was using Win 7. Upgraded my HDMI p6267c (with factory installed ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics card) from Win 7 to Win 10 and lost some display resolution.
